I am Sue Stewart-Bermon, a Licenced Independent Clinical Social Worker.  I provide a warm and friendly place where individuals and families of all ages, backgrounds and orientations can receive quality and evidence-based support.  While prioritizing trust, I focus on your strengths, respect your unique experience and work with you to accomplish your goals.

I am in Private Practice in Needham, MA.  I grew up in Rhode Island, received a Master’s in Social Work from Simmons University in 2006 and have been working and living in the Boston/ greater Boston area since then.

I hold 18 + years of experience as an Individual and Family Therapist with specialized training in Maternal and Infant Mental Health, Early Childhood Development and Anxiety Treatment with Children and Adolescents.  My experience includes serving as a Boston area non-profit Clinical Team Lead and providing extensive direct clinical support and consultation services in the Hospital (NICU), Pediatrics, Behavioral Health, Public Health and other Community Based settings.

I work in collaboration with individuals, couples and families of all ages.  I have a strong background in Trauma Informed care and utilize an Integrative Therapy Approach grounded in Attachment Theory, Developmental Psychology,  Neuropsychology  and Poly Vagal Theory.
